  1. I believe that red light cameras are good. The camera doesn’t lie. And police departments are lazy. They would rather be sitting on their butts with a radar gun for speeders. Most accidents occur in intersections and mostly because of red light runners!!!

  3. A year cousin of mine lives in a small town in AZ and a person stole and forged checks and cashed them out of my cousin. He reported this person to the police and they refused to prosecute her!!! They said , the bank is going to give you the money,back out of the insurance so we don’t want to waste the time prosecuting her!!! Amazing but true!!!

  7. Any adjuster who is trying to be fair (most want to) , they will calculate the percentage of the damage of the value of the car, not if a shop says they can fix it or not. Some people want the car totalled and some do not want it to be totaled, but unfortunately in this country it does not matter what people want. Many State say that a car is 75 percent of the ACV ( market value of the car) , and sentimental value means crap in this country!! I have settled thousands of total losses, and many, many thousands of repairs. It is not true that insurance companies do not give bonuses for for lowballing people. and many adjusters do make fair offers the first time, I did it many many times!!! any insurance Co who encourages ripping off people can be fined for bad faith! I know because I worked a few years for Royal Globe !!!

  8. If a person legally bought the car, and got financing and the dealer recieved the check, too bad. If they repoed the car from me they would have had a hell of a lawsuit. Only those fly by night dealers pull that stuff!!!. Most llegit dealerships , get approval or rejection from legit financers in Minutes (sometimes , seconds). so you know right away if financing was approved.

  9. When I bought my car and signed the contract and all the papaerwork, good luck if the dealer called me and said we want the car back. Tuff Ruck!!! they certainly wouldn’t have gotten it back from me. when our credit Union paid for that car , they legally owned it. Too bad dealer, if they want it back!!!

  11. I assumed (mistaken) that Dave R was paid by that company that gets people out of the Time shares. I will say though that Time Shares are the Worst investment ever!!!! The first time I heard how they work, I thought "who would be crazy enough to buy one of those !!!!!

  12. I understand that SCOTUS is the ULTIMATE an interpreter of the constitution!?! So when the SCOTUS makes a decision, how can a later court decide something opposite? Then it seems that they ARENT the ultimate deciders!!, It seems that every time you get a group of Justices that have a different philosophy, and reverse a decision that was previously found to be “constitutional “ So how could the opposite be true. We are losing our way, in this battle of the oligarchy trying to ruin the lives of us poor folks!!!

  23. It is also not true that an insurance adjuster, a can make an offer and if not accepted, say the we will not pay you. Anything. If the Insurance company owes you they owe you, they can only deny (outright) the claim is they don’t owe it. I have worked as an insurance adjuster for 40 years, and I never said, Oh you don’t like my offer; I won’t pay you anything! That should not ever happen!!! the insurance company can be fined big time. In California they can be fined $10’000 for each instance of low,balling a claimant!!!
