  2. Isn’t the word socialism in the american dictionary? Do you really understand what it means or are you confusing it with communism again? The cops is a socialist concept as is the Army, schools, roads fire department etc. Countries need both socialism and capitalism to thrive. And countries with more socialism than capitalism are richer. There is a reason why the U.S has lower living standards than 35 countries. Because those countries have also heavily invested in social living policies. The U.S has superior armed forces but nothing else, because the army is socialist by nature and has been heavily invested in. It is not left or right anymore, the Cold War is over. It is about doing what’s best! No matter what philosophy is espoused. Btw, only a few countries are completely capitalist! Without government help for anything! Somalia is one, Nepal is another. No government funded schools, hospitals or police. No government built roads. Nothing that is socialist. Do you think the word socialism is still as bad? Really?
