I wonder what he would have said if he knew that most of the white elites were the product of legacy admissions into colleges an nepotism in all stratus of society. While affirmative action is mostly given to white women, to receive it you have to have reached the same academic level as the highest students. Which kind of means that when a black person is qualified to do a job they are probably completely qualified as opposed to many whites. In many ways he was progressive. Many things he said was spot on, but not all, things have changed and his views on affirmative action, especially in light of recent news, is outdated.
