  1. It doesn’t sound like he’s talking about Rome at all. And Egypt’s river does not flow from the west. He’s probably talking about Persia and Greece. Sounds like the west is trying to appropriate Chinese history as usual. Too much ‘perhaps’. ‘Most likely’ and ‘sounds like’.
