@larryross1819 More kids are accidentally shot and killed by other children than all gun deaths in the U.K. In fact more children are deliberately killed by other children in school shootings alone than all the gun and knife deaths in the U.K. Let’s break down your 2nd amendment sentence (made by paranoid slavers and Injun killers 200 years ago!) “Well regulated”. Do you understand what that means? Quite simple. Licensing, examinations etc. “Militia”. Means an Army. The Army, you have one! The U.S military. The biggest one in the world that is always at war somewhere. They are allowed to keep arms. Not an 18 year old hormonal boy or some toothless hick. Then it’s got something about a free state irrational idealist nonsense. Then “the right of the people to keep arms”. Which people? …the people mentioned in the first half of the sentence. “The well regulated militia”. The open carry of swords was banned a century ago in the progressive countries, soon followed by guns. Or else the whole world would be like America. No other countries have school shootings. The Indians were nearly wiped out and the slaves didn’t rise up and kill you because they were freed, so that law became outdated. Guns are exciting, but too dangerous to have just lying around. Depressed people kill themselves without a second thought (some come to their senses on the drive to the bridge) Angry men kill their wives or ex friends on a whim. And angry teenage boys think they’re Billy the kid. No where else do they have these problems. I know you’re all set in your ways. Still back in the 20th century… sorry 16th and 17th centuries! But it’s time to adapt to the rest of the world. America has been left behind. No free healthcare for all. Tent cities (refugee camps in any other country) Rich over here, poor there (3rd world country) Segregation. Ghettos. And a crisis of mentally ill, and the traumatised. A police state, the most corrupt warmongering bloodthirsty brainwashed country in history. I feel sorry for all the women and non whites, not only in that country but all over the world too. America had a brief shining moment in history when they helped Russia and Britain defeat the Nazis. But everything else they have done is abominable. But they have been traumatised by earlier generations and have a chance to change. I just hope they do it soon!
