Si M00n. Yes British culture dominates american life. But Americans aren’t clever enough to get and hold an empire. It is a third world country with first world weapons. Have you ever been there? It’s crumbling! Outdated! It is nothing like S.Korea, ...when you plug in an iron the lights dim! It is like what Europe was in the 1960’s! It’s like getting in a time machine! They wake up, make coffee on a italian machine. Watch their Korean and Japanese TVs. Talk on their Korean and Chinese made phones. Get in their european and Asian cars. All they produce is weapons. It is a poor country. There are homeless people everywhere! Everywhere! Cops that look like soldiers, and a terrified populace. He’ll on earth for many, inside and out. And how long has America had this so called ‘world empire’? A 100 years? 50? Since 9-11? Since ww2? The reason it’s so vague is because it doesn’t exist. Americans are masters of spin and hype, like how magicians are masters of deception and sleight of hand! It’s not as real as you think! LoL!

Si M00n. You need to leave South Korea! LoL! America’s language and culture are English. The american culture would be Native American culture. These are Europeans. They have Spanish culture, some Irish, Scottish and French but mostly English! Just as Canada is! Like how Mexico is Spanish and Brazil is Portuguese! They may have thrown of their colonial chains over a hundred years ago, but are still culturally beholden to their former masters as evidenced by physical presence in architecture and people. Iraq for example was conquered by America but losing a war does not make you part of their ‘empire’. France did not become part of the German empire because they lost against them! Empires are more than buying a product! Otherwise we’d be talking about the Japanese empire when they supplied the world with cheap goods and now the Chinese!. The bullies think they rule the playground! But when school is over they go looking to the nerds for jobs! America is a war machine but it takes more than a good army to control an empire!

D' Essay, hurt your little feelings did I? Let me just deconstruct your little rant. In terms of language? You speak ENGLISH. From England your former colonial masters, in terms of military might? It is a country with the biggest army. Rome was often up against bigger armies than themselves. As was the British, Spanish etc. America couldn’t even defeat Vietnam! Korea, Cuba, Iraq etc (because you need brains to hold and run an empire!) and in terms of productivity? America is way past their glory days, they have a local market for their products. No one outside the US buys US made fridges, TVs, cars. And anything american we do buy is made in Korea or China. America has the biggest debt in the world EVER! Tri-li-ons! How can a Empire be indebted to everyone else? And when did this empire start exactly? The 30’s? After ww1, ww2, the sixties? 911? When? The reason it’s so vague is because it’s non existent. No one has to argue whether this or that place is an empire. It is undisputed fact! The United States are not there yet! LoL!
