  1. Perhaps the reason the military selected him to participate in the study of this alien aircraft, instead of more qualified scientists was...they deemed him disposable? If another "fatal accident" happened, they wouldn't be losing the best and brightest of their scientific pool?

  2. Why is this BS? Have you never heard of gravitational mystery spots? The Upper Peninsula of Michigan is rich in minerals, and there are places you can place a chair on a wall and have it stick. There used to be some tourist attractions that allowed you to go in and just experiment with messing with stuff.
