  1. This is an example of why I don't participate in Halloween anymore. Growing up, it was just a time of funny costumes and candy. Now, every store display I see is about mutilated body parts, rotting corpses, etc. Yes, I know the difference between actual events and "make believe ". But when there are actual events this horrible, why would you ever want to glorify it by pretending to replicate it "for fun"?
