1) If the police are disbanded, and replaced by "community based police", I fear Sharia law would get a foothold in America. 2) the idea that poverty simply replicates itself due to its surroundings removes all responsibility from the shoulders of the residents living there. There is a clear correlation between children in poverty, and single parent homes in which parents were never married or even committed to each other. People who are born into that tragedy do not have to copy it - but so often they do because it is legitimized and accepted. You want to get out of the hood?
