Round up started its purpose as a herbicide. It stops the plant's (weed) photosynthesis cycle. But within fairly recent years, some farmers are also spraying it on their healthy grain fields, right before harvest, to essentially kill / "ripen" the entire field at once, so it can be harvested easier. I've heard many Ag people and farmers discuss it but I have never witnessed it. If this is true, then it explains why Roundup is showing up in the harvested food. When used to kill weeds, it's applied BETWEEN the rows of grain (yes, I know there can be some drift). But if it's being applied purposefully to kill the grain before harvest, there would be no time for the Roundup to fade, to be diluted in the rain, etc. And it is the FOOD being sprayed. Not the rows between the food.

@peterg76yt Here's what I suspect about the Clinton's...Although they are celebrity politicians and household names, in no way are they the top of the food chain. They, too, have handlers who put stress on them for results. We know foreign governments, corporations, billionaire donors, etc. These type of people don't back LOSERS, and that's what Hillary Clinton did - the unthinkable. She lost 3 times ..the election night, the contested races, and finally at the Electoral college where she was literally bribing delegates to change their states votes to HER.
Why hasn't Hillary Clinton "just gone away"? Because she can't AFFORD to - she's only an asset to her handlers as long as she is politically significant. Once that ends, she (and Bill) will move over to the "liability" column. She won't have the advantage of being able to control and blackmail other people in Washington DC. A lot of people would probably breathe a sigh of relief when they no longer have to fear her...

As a journalist at small town American newspapers, I can identify this: today's "reporters" are NOT journalists. They are glorified public relations reps, that's it. Huge difference: Journalists are supposed to be 100% objective when covering the subject matter. So technically, it shouldn't matter if a journalist who personally identifies as Liberal is assigned to cover a Conservative based event. The reporter is to NEVER personally get involved in, or spin/skew the coverage in any way.
That's the media we had before ads were sold on page A1, and before "infotainment " shows like Inside Edition started on TV. The broadcast media "reporters" all turned into a bunch of empty, talking heads, who just read a monitor and parrot back whatever it says.
In the previous world of real journalists, they often struggled with covering financial hard news, because their liberal studies degrees did not include any financial classes. I fear college students today are even more dumbed down, because the elite Powers that Be want to be able to indirectly influence and control the media as much as possible. Previously, federal law prohibited an owner of a broadcast news station to also own a print media/newspaper. Now, only a few companies own also all media in America, a huge mistake.
Today's "reporters" are all about making themselves famous, and mistakenly believe the general public gives a damn about their opinions. We truly are living in a Cult of Personality.

Michigan belongs on this list! When the Big 3 automakers started shipping jobs to Mexico (and some to Canada), it not only triggered layoffs of the main level of autoworkers. But also little, privately owned factories called Tier 2 and Tier 3, which made and provided smaller components to the auto factories.
Then, when thousands of people lost their jobs, all within a short time, they no longer had money to spend in restaurants, buying recreational toys, new vehicles every year, etc. The main factories had been located near Flint and Detroit, but the entire State of Michigan was devastated.
Then add situations like the real estate market imploding in 2008, and the Flint water crisis, how Michigan public schools always lag behind...we have one of the highest auto insurance rates in America, and Michigan law allows insurance companies to base premium rates on the customers credit score (lower FICO scores equals higher rates). Michigan deserves to be at least in the middle of this list!

@muhammedmansoor3406 earn money = yes, work for it = no. All younger generation is focused on is how to get RICH QUICK. I blame it on social media influencers and the entertainment industry. Not ALL youths, but the majority do not have the physical work ethic of their previous generations. So, our trade industries are suffering BIG TIME for workers. And those are the jobs that cannot be sent overseas: builders, electrician, plumbers, welders, appliance repair, auto repair, truck drivers, heavy equipment operator. All hard labor, dirty, stressful, but high paying, often union jobs with benefits.

In America we already HAVE UBI, just not for the masses. Lower income people have available to them: free or reduced housing via Section 8, free food via SNAP, free healthcare via Medicaid, if they qualify free cash monthly from SSI, sometimes help paying utilities (or free if rolled into their housing voucher). I work with many people on these benefits, most are miserable. They have the majority of their time to do whatever, and they produce zilch. Sleep crazy patterns, complain they are bored with their current video games. Whenever I suggest opportunities for them to get involved volunteering their time or efforts to worthy community causes, they look at me and say "I don't work for FREE". No buddy, you just don't WORK! If a formal UBI is installed in America, what's going to happen to all of these other social programs? As it is now, if you make more than $50 cash during a month they are supposed to report it and have their benefits lowered. If UBI replaces or disqualifies them from all other social benefits, and hyper inflation hits, what have we accomplished? UBI is just another government shell game : Look at what the left hand is giving you, as the right hand strips it all away!

There's several other aspects of the Amish community that were skipped: alcohol, drugs, tobacco are forbidden. There is a strict hierarchy within the family clan, so there's no argument over who gets what. Like it or not, husbands are automatically the head of the household and make the decisions, so there's no question of authority. Good or bad, divorce is not considered an option. Whether or not you agree, they have a strong Faith and look to the Bible Scriptures for their emotional strength. Every Sunday they have worship service in a clan member's home, everyone travels to be there. Every person, even the younger children, are given tasks to do, which instills a strong work ethic.

I like to see other people succeed. I am strong in my Christian Faith, which tells me my Heavenly Father will provide for my needs (not always my wants but my needs). When I see other people being Blessed, I don't get jealous, I rejoice with them because I know the Blessing was according to their need and there's always more from the source. God's Blessings do not run out. If He gives to someone else, it doesn't mean that there's less for me. It just builds up my anticipation for when it is my turn, and God has never failed to follow through or provide my needs. In fact, He usually provides an over abundance, and if I can, I share the extra with someone who needs it. We are called to be His hands and feet, too, and take care of each other.
The first step in waking up from the brainwashing is to turn off advertising. We are constantly being told we are not good enough unless we buy a product. I'd love to see you review women's magazines and share your opinion of how they impact young women.

My thoughts:
1) while you are obviously brilliant and passionate about your work, please do not choose to carry the weight of the world upon your shoulders. No one person can forcibly "save" another...that whole pesky "free will" stuff!
2) the world is better with you in it, even at a 1% capacity, versus 0%. You need to focus on HEALING YOURSELF, for the sake of yourself and your family. If you doubt this, re-read #1.
3) I look forward to your Biblical discussions, but please don't over analyze it to the point that the beauty and mystery of some passage disappear. Psalms and Proverbs are wisdom, yes, but also art. Is it more important to analyze a recipe to death? Or savor the experience of consuming it? God Bless, you and your family, remain in my prayers!

1) When you visit large national parks, you'll see signs "Do not feed the bears 🐻". Why? Because doing so makes them dependent upon people for food, instead of using their instincts and abilities to feed themselves! This creates risks for both bears and humans.
2) In America we already have a UBI. It is called Social Security Disability, Section 8 Free Housing, SNAP free food stamps, etc. The intention of these programs is to be a "safety net" for disadvantaged people. I interact with these people daily and see how they "work the system" to get free everything! In general they have no self esteem, squander their time, accomplish nothing except breathing. They are discouraged and threatened to have their benefits eliminated if they improve themselves or their lot in life. Many have substance abuse issues, I believe, because there's nothing uplifting in their lives! I am a widow, struggling to keep my household and family together, working 3 jobs, and I stare into their eyes and think "It sucks that I have to work to pay for myself and them, but at least I have my FREEDOM!" UBI might be a way to barely sustain someone's life, but it is not a preferable way to live!
3) The constant answer of "The rich will pay for you" is old and a fairy tale. There will be a mathematical breaking point at which time they will cull the heard. "Useless eaters". And if we choose to live a basic lifestyle outside their system? In America, the current administration has already labeled us "discontents "! Because we are "discontented" with their plans, with living in the cities, etc. Prices for everything absolutely will skyrocket so UBI will not be enough, yet there's no jobs due to AI? This is 100 percent about control of your very existence. And you will only exist if they want you to!

@zombieking712 right now, not a lot. But do you see the news concentrating on telling us how to boost our immune systems? No. I haven't seen any coverage in mainstream media.
Spend time on youtube, there are some things you can do, some are claiming large doses of Vitamins C & D, naturally good food and quality sleep.
Also search "intermittent fasting". Everytime you consume something other than pure water, your body has to divert energy away from other systems to your digestive system. Even if all you are was a small healthy snack, that diversion can last hours.
"Autophagy " is the process by which our bodies cleans, detoxes, renews itself, but it can't happen when digestive system is active. So instead of eating meals spread throughout the day, concentrate your daily calories into just a window of 4 to 6 hours. That leaves the rest of the time for your body to focus its energy in autophagy. And avoid SUGAR of all types, even natural forms like honey. If you are diabetic, there are videos that address how to do intermittent fasting. Get lots of rest, but not flat on your back, you need to stay upright and mobile. Get a respiratory exerciser (device with the little balls) to help keep your lungs clear, or else practice blowing up balloons. You need to be doing this NOW while you are still healthy

@xtheory my, there's an awful lot of defensive guilt on this post! Re-read ALL my posts, I talk about how if seniors have special needs then yes, additional help in the home or a facility is warranted. I work at a real estate company and we deal with living trusts, estates, etc. More often, families have scattered because someone was pursuing a career, was transfered, likes summer vs cold winter, etc and grandparents are left behind to care for themselves until that can no longer take place. MANY seniors would not have to go to nursing homes if they could have changes made to their existing house, and maybe a person to stop by once or twice a week. Are there seniors with special needs? Yep. Regular nursing homes in my part of rural Michigan are about $7k PER MONTH, without special care. Who can afford to pay that bill? America's healthcare system is atrocious, but I don't think things will get better WITHOUT the involvement of the family. Now as much as you are claiming I am looking through the world with "rose colored glasses", please realize your own experience is also coloring your own personal judgement. In my network of friends, I know more seniors in their 80s with minds just as sharp as ever - senior like this EXIST! They just need extra physical help. Our families have apartments on our houses for them. They stay with us until the very end. America is a mix of cultures, unless you go back to the Native Americans, all tribes had their own customs.

There's a lot of truth in this, especially about the new shame being on women who choose to stay with their husbands (regardless of whether he was unfaithful). I live in a small town, and I've noticed in our county, there's a cycle of divorce cases. It seems like a year will go by with no one I know getting a divorce then BAM - I will discover several people I know are divorcing.
I've also witnessed more than once instances of unhappy wives not only leaving their husbands, but encouraging their female friends to do likewise, even if they are in long term, happy marriages. The premise is all the soon to be ex wives pool their resources- their monies, watch each other's kids, share car rides, etc. By the time the final women to join the club have their divorces finalized, the 1 or 2 ring leaders will have been alone for a year or two. And they've discovered they don't like to be alone and guess who they decide to hook up with? You got it, their best friends newly divorced ex husbands. So essentially the 1 or 2 ring leaders perpetuate a spousal swap. And some people have gone through this more than once.

I usually love your content, but you really dropped the ball on the "bigfoot" thing - you think reports didn't take place until the early 1900s? Sasquatch, Sabe, Forrest people (giants) by any name are present in nearly every culture on almost all continents, dating back hundreds of not thousands of years. If you want to learn more, watch Steve on the "How to Hunt" channel read thousands of letters from people globally who have had encounters with these creatures - there are MANY accounts from My Shasta area. Also research Scott Carpenter's channel which includes videos and photos of entities. Forest giants were noted in the records of Lewis & Clark as they mapped America, and Davey Crockett, and President Teddy Roosevelt!
"Big foot" was a term created in the 1950s/60s, and is used in a mocking, commercial way. Similar to how "Santa" may be a myth, but there really was a St Nicholas. There are many witnesses who claim there is a link between Sasquatch and light orbs/UFOs - now THAT'S a topic to investigate!

More than the Covid-19 virus I fear:
1) Over-reaching Big Daddy government
2) The Panic of others, who are operating on emotion, rather than logic
3) Disrupted supply chains for things like food and medicine
4) Drug addicts and other people desperate for money to feed their addiction or families
5) Mentally unstable people who were kept balanced with Rx drugs, but now might not have access to the meds
6) the dehumanization we are experiencing, being told to keep away from everyone, not to great with a handshake, not to express love and friendship with a hug, not to visit our elderly or injured
7) how fractured our society has become, with many young people choosing to drug themselves into oblivion on Spring break, regardless that their actions might contribute to the death of someone else
8) the fact that I have several more things I could list, but my soul is too weary.
It's only 40 degrees F here, but I'm going to walk barefoot in my yard for a few minutes to ground myself and clear my head...

About 10 years ago, my daughter's Girl Scout troop visited Chicago. We mostly stayed near the tourist attractions, but there were still panhandlers EVERYWHERE. Most were polite, some were not. Some were fighting amongst themselves over who deserved to have which "territory " to work. No police presence.
Following year we went to Washington DC. It struck us how few homeless people we saw. It was right before the national parks and monuments were being closed down due to federal budget woes, but we did see an occasional person sleeping on a park bench, only in the shadows. But we were creeped out when we were walking past 2 young men, sitting on their bikes, just off the edge of the sidewalk. They refused to look us in the eyes but as we approached we heard them faintly muttering "Any change? Got any change? ". It was so quiet you could barely hear it. Before we could react, one nudged the other and nodded in a particular direction, and suddenly they were on their bikes and gone. We assumed there must be constant surveillance in Washington DC, and a push to drive the homeless underground?

True story, happened to me about 6 years ago...
I had to have a test done, at a local hospital, ordered by a local doctor. Pretty standard stuff. I had insurance.
My coworker, within about 2 weeks, had the EXACT same test done, ordered by the EXACT same doctor, performed at the EXACT same hospital. He had no insurance.
Because he had no insurance, he called the hospital in advance to tell them he was without insurance and needed to pay cash for his procedure. He was charged $800.
Because I had health insurance coverage (billed in network), BUT I had not yet met my deductible, the insurance paid ZERO and it all came out of my pocket. My charge? $4,000! The hospital charged 4k for the exact same test, simply because they were "billing insurance ". When I found out my coworker only paid $800, I called the hospital and asked if I could just pay the $800 cash and my insurance not be billed at all the hospital refused stating I was trying to commit insurance fraud!
If this would have happened involving any other industry, it would have been illegal and RICO charges brought!

In April 2021 I got CV pneumonia and was hospitalized for 3 days. They gave me massive amounts of IV antibiotics (several kinds) and sent me home with RX for 3 MORE, DIFFERENT antibiotic pills to take for 3 weeks. Once I returned to (somewhat) normal I joined the Flore service. They analyze your stool to determine your current gut biome, then make custom antibiotics specific to what you need. Their reports are very detailed and identify which strains you currently have, if they are beneficial neutral or harmful, what healthy percentage range is, and your current range.
I have struggled with obesity my entire life. Even when I follow eating plans I might lose 2 lbs and gain 10 lbs and quit in frustration. Well, according to my gut biome report, 50 percent of my entire biome level was gone. And I have ZERO of a strain needed to metabolize carbs. ZERO, not even a trace. No idea how long that's been true, but could it be why I feel like the weight loss deck is stacked against me? Could it be why my blood sugar level is a bit higher than normal? If this condition continues long enough, would it contribute to becoming diabetic? More research into the role and impact of the gut biome is needed!

@don sheremeta so, there are different levels of donations. First option: donate the entire body "to science". That's a bit of a nasty process. Look it up if you want. Personally, I would never do it. Second, donate actual organs to living recipients. AND, also you can make "soft tissue donations" to living recipients. That includes things like eyes, muscles, skin for skin grafts, veins and arteries, and vertebrae. In order to donate to living recipients, the donor has to be determined to be of a certain health, not be physically damaged by whatever trauma is involved, etc. They usually accept all donations, but some are later determined to not be usable.
The last donation option is to the closest medical schools, for use in research and training. My 46 year old husband suffered a stroke, and this was our option for his actual organs. We (he) did make soft tissue donations. The Gift of Life organization sent us a follow up letter, informing us they believe they will be able to help up to 77 different people with my husband's gifts. They awarded him a bronze medal, which we counter sunk into his headstone. My husband had legally made his after life wishes known way before the stroke, so it was easy to carry out his wishes. Making those donations was the only positive thing that came out of his death.

Why was Luke and Laura such a cultural hit? Simple...
Luke was NOT the most handsome man - he was sort of a (pre-Michael Boulton hair ) geek. But a NICE guy, an emotional support to Laura, which is what really attracts women. So his "sensitive side" made him HOT and attracted the women. Then there were male watchers who knew Laura was way "too pretty" for the geek to get in real life, so those viewers lived vicariously through him. Is the Nice Guy finally going to finish first? Maybe there's hope for the viewers? Or is the soap opera going to turn real and Nice Guy gets dumped by Crazy Bitch, which the viewers can identify with?
Then there's the constant drama - back and forth - the original "we were on a break". The wedding was actually a let down, lol
Many other soaps followed suit. The best example is Bo and Hope from Days of Our Lives, also in the 80s. By the time that plot ran its course, I was willing to kill both of them myself! And Victor and (Nikki ?) On Young and the Restless, Kelly and (?) On Bold and the Beautiful, etc. I never became fan to any particular show, but had college roommates who structured their class schedule around their soap operas (too broke to afford a VCR)...

You were speaking Norwegian to them...I must share a story.
Here in America I have a friend who bought a pure bred chihuahua. The dog was born in America and was raised around people who only spoke English.
My friend had the very stubborn little dog for a couple years. Small body, huge attitude. Anyway, my friend was learning Spanish and one day she got so angry at the little dog she started yelling at it with her new Spanish vocabulary. AND HE OBEYED. From then on, he would only obey if she spoke to him in Spanish.
So - how can this be? It's not based in his environment, it must be based in his genetics?
Also: I have a sister who recused a dog that turns out to be a breed, orginally Belgian, bred to ride on the ships and keeps rats out, like a smaller german shepherd, etc. Dog was born and raised in America. Absolutely ADORES coffee, he will stick his snout in her cup and drink all of it if she turns her back. He refuses to eat any type of bread unless it's the hard, crispy rolls, common in Europe. And while most people claim chocolate is poisonous to dogs, he devoured a 5 pound box of dark chocolates IN ONE SITTING without getting sick at all. There's got to be a genetic link to their original cultures...
