I am able to confidently declare this as fact as I understand the tech, how it is used and how to easily recognise when it is being used. Almost every video on MSM all over the world is now produced with it. There are many theories and explanations as to why they are doing it / would do it. But the more logical question to ask would be why wouldn't they be using it to feed you lies and propaganda from your screen...? Deep fake technology exists and they can use it to control the narrative being put out to the entire population of the world from one tv studio. It's completely insane to think that they wouldn't be doing this not the other way round. Why bother scripting and directing thousands of actors all over the world every day when you can do it from one computer?
