  3. I'm pretty sure the reason #1 is to keep Ukrainian positions undisclosed. I totally believe that you don't intend to disclose Ukrainian positions and such but it's a modern war and there have been a decent number of documented cases of successful strikes on locations accidentally disclosed in the media. I think the most famous one is when a russian propagandist reported on a mobile howitzer and the next thing you know it's destroyed. Ukrainians confirmed that they used this video as a reference for their anti artillery radars.
