  2. Same story with Ukraine. ruSSians love to say that many Ukrainians "collaborated" with Germans but it was only in the beginning of occupation and for very similar reasons you stated. I mean, before Germans invaded, USSR artificially caused TWO famines that killed many millions. The most recent one was less than 10 years before USSR was invaded. Think about it... 9 years is nothing. I'm not even talking about deportations to Siberia and political executions. So it makes perfect sense to see Germans are liberators.

There were no smart phones and social media and it's not like Germany was advertising concentration camps. Once Ukrainians experienced German "generosity", they started fighting both, Germans and Soviets

  7. Have you seen the map? North East is where ruSSo occupants have been kicked out. Southeast is where Azov Steel is. It's more than 100km into occupied territory with a very short flight time to ruSSian air bases in already occupied Crimea. Need to absorb lend-lease, form new brigades and only then it makes sense to make a push in the Southeast.

  10. Nah, they are just looking for their own interests. US actually has sanctions on Turkey and there's some dispute with political immigrants in Sweden/Finland. It'll be resolved with negotiations. Turkey is actually fighting russia via proxy in Syria, Libya and Azerbaijan (from top of my head).

  11. That money has been approved by the Senate, Congress, and the President to be a GRANT. It's history. And Ukraine didn't get to pick the weapons it wants (which happens when you purchase something). If USA wants a deal... Great. But it should be for the upcoming future help. Basically making it a transaction. Otherwise it's an extortion. And by the way, at this point I don't even see the reason for Ukraine to sign anything. Even the intel has been cut off and even if it's reinstated for signing this deal, USA will cut it off again whenever they want something else. The credibility has been washed down the toilet. Hopefully EU will finally commit to the boost of missiles and drone production Ukraine can share their resources with the neighbor who does not betray

  23. 10:20 is the key sentence. I feel the frustration of these brave men, but I think Ukraine is doing its best under these 10:20 circumstances.
