@bobs5596 🤦‍♂️ what in the world does Dep. of Education (feds) have to do with town's school infrastructure (paid by the property tax)? Seriously.... The more you talk, the worse you look. Just let it go, bud. Edit: just read your comment about food stamps 🤣🤣🤣 Do yourself a favor and learn what property taxes are primarily spent on.

You get what you pay for. It'll cool that you are happy and content with your life but I can't imagine myself living in the Midwest.

Agreed. Especially for Florida it's insane. I wouldn't buy it even for $500k just because it's Florida (hurricanes,. flooding, unbearable humidity)

@bobs5596 LoL, I tried, I really tried to help you. You are absolutely free to believe whatever you want, but it doesn't change the fact that property tax has nothing to do with foodstamps or DoE or pretty much anything else you listed.

Yeah I'm in a similar situation. Bought my first property in 1995 (yeah before the crash) and it was the best decision I've ever made. Yes, I struggled as a 23 year old (back then) but it all paid off handsomely. Today I still have this condo that I rent out and a nice house.

@bobs5596 that's only your opinion. Even "squandered" taxes would produce something evident. It's not like "squandering" goes into thin air. In my town I see new schools and never ending road renovation projects. Obviously trash pick-up, snow, storm clean up, etc. Taxes are going up because everything else is going up. It's all connected. Funny you brought up Trump. A guy that wants to set a 25%+ import tax on the top 4 trade partners.
