  1. Some older people in the Eastern parts of Ukraine are actually russians that moved to Ukrainian Soviet Republic (name back in USSR times) to work in mines or factories. They are still living with USSR mentality and very much think of themselves as "citizens of USSR". There are actually very similar people living on Brighton Beach in NY. Fortunately, this is an outgoing generation and even then it's just a small minority as was said in this video.
