This is exactly why Ukraine has been begging for this for months now and so far only Poland came through big with 200 tanks. But it's still a drop in a bucket. Dozens of brigades need to be equipped as a coherent unit. Otherwise Ukraine would be sending men to certain death and Ukraine isn't ruSSia to fight this style.

Since the intercepting missile was too old, it didn't work as expected and Polish citizens died as a result. So Ukrainians are very careful now not to endanger Poland. 2. Allowing airspace for a HOSTILE country's missile is absurd. ANY nation on this planet has a right to down ANY military object that enters their airspace and it's NOT an "escalation". 3. So now russia can see that Polish (NATO) airspace is open for them to sneak in from behind and Ukraine's hands are pretty much tied. 4. Western countries are trying to help Ukraine with air defense.... And shooting down missiles that enter NATO territory is not allowed? 🤦‍♂️
