Let me get this straight.... It's in Slovakia interest to pump gas through the biggest war zone since ww2 and from a supplier that has proved a number of times to shut off gas at will? If you use basic logic. Doesn't it sound like a huge energy risk for Slovakia? I'm not even talking about funding Russia, which causes humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, which creates refuge migration to Slovakia and EU.

@AArco-vc1jj oh and by the way, what about Ukraine? Did you forget that the pipeline crosses the entire length of UKRAINE and it's in Ukraine's INTEREST not to renew? It's not all about Slovakia, bud. And Ukraine isn't just some pipe Slovakia and russia are negotiating over. I mean, hypothetically speaking Ukraine might have renewed this contract IF Slovakia and Hungary were not blocking aid to Ukraine every possible step of the way. Hungary and Slovakia are cuddling up to russia, blocking aid to Ukraine, hindering Ukraine joining EU and of course NATO and then both are whining about Ukraine not renewing russia gas transit 🤦‍♂️

@AArco-vc1jj in "just" 3 years they could have built an interconnect with another neighbor. I can almost guarantee you that EU would pay for it. And I love how you conveniently ignored the second part of my response (about how Slovakia and Hungary treat Ukraine politically).
