  6.  Евгения Едалина  I can only fact palm at your ruSSo history nonsense. Byzantine empire you mentioned yourself is a continuation of the Roman empire. It was then conquered by the Ottoman Empire. Rus was based in Kyiv and never "continued" anywhere. People that live in Ukraine are direct descendants of the same people that lived in Rus. Yes, there were conquests (last one being USSR and most recently modern ruSSia) but it doesn't completely wash out demographics. Anyway, carry on with your parallel universe
