  1.  @blockchainisajoke870  For once try to first learn the subject before commenting. 1. Ukraine was defacto and dejure neutral in early spring of 2014 when russia annexed Crimea and occupied Eastern Ukraine. Vast majority (not even close to half) of Ukrainians were against NATO in 2014. That's what neutrality living next to russia does to you - loss of territory. 2. Ukrainians aren't second class citizens next to Finland and Sweden. Finish NATO border is now basically a modern artillery away from the second capital - st. Petersburg. Sweden and Finland NATO membership makes Baltic a NATO lake. Finish border is well over 1k km. And what happened? Nothing. Not even a peep from russia and they even pulled most of the air defense systems and forces from Finish border. 3. In 2000 putin himself wanted to join NATO.
