@x-hale2899 I don't need to tell you the reason. ruZians are now blunt about it and officials are speaking openly - they want to restore USSR territory and Ukraine is the biggest obstacle. All this nonsense about "saving Russians" doesn't hold any water because no one has caused us more harm and sorrow than ruZia (yes I'm a Russian speaker from Ukraine). All the nonsense about NATO (and they aren't even talking about it anymore) doesn't hold any water because NATO didn't want Ukraine. And ruZia already occupied parts of Ukraine in 2014 so this was ALREADY an automatic rejection from NATO talks, i.e. no need for full scale war in 2022.

@x-hale2899 There are already a number of resolutions in the EU specifically calling this geniside. I'm also from Ukraine and half of my family is from the Donetsk region. First hand experience pretty much. Canada, Ireland, Poland and Chezia for now only part of the government recognizing. And it's only the beginning. At least you aren't trying to dispute annexation.

@x-hale2899 If ruZia had less money and resources of course it wouldn't. But you are right, there's more to this than money. Norway, for example, has 1,5 trillion $ cash fund but civilized enough not to invade anyone

@thatosebotsane8017 1. I never said EU as an organization. I said some EU states and even those outside of EU. 2. No one cares about UN anymore because ruZia has a veto and ruZia is the aggressor and violated pretty much everything there's to violate. 3. Like I said, this is just the beginning... Armenian genocide and Ukrainian genocide of 1930s - countries to this day keep joining the list of recognitions.
