Lucky for me I don't give a damn about people and their opinion of me. My rule is, don't bother me, and I won't bother you. I lived in a small town where I was the only mixed raced person there and had zero problems. As a matter of fact I loved it. But this one white drunk asked me one day if I was Mexican or a N, their were about 5 white guys that heard him, the next thing I heard was that person was found dead. After that all the whites went out of their way to be friendly, they were friendly before that. What people need to learn is this World belongs to all of us. I won't dislike a whole race of people just because of a few screw ups! I love both my Black and white Ancestors. But that's just me. People want to waste their time hating people over the color of their skin, help yourself! The truth is, Racism is stupid!!

  46. I think she gave a great Interview and advise when she said to stay close to friends and loved one's because you never know when this type of thing could happen. The scary thing is I've had coworkers and bosses that acted like they might have some type of mental issue. We just never know who we're dealing with from day to day On any job. Sadly, the World is a very dangerous place now. We just never know what to expect from people. My Heart goes out to the victims and their family members.

My Dad was Born in Morgantown, and he worked as a coal miner, and i was born in Fairmont and I don't remember too many bad things. At the age of 71 it seems like a nice quiet, slow paced place to live now. I like that most of the houses are not all on top of each other. Where I live now every time you look out the window there's a ton of people.

  50. I did that once and the way people reacted, you would have thought I brought back life! The women started crying and thanking me, other customers were telling me what a nice thing that was. I have to admit, it did feel good. I just keep remembering the time I got laid off, and my employment ran out. The phone company was turning off my phone. Then everything just changed. The owner of the complex I lived in stopped charging me rent, people just started bringing me food, a friend paid all of my bills. So my one act of kindness doesn't compare to the love and kindness these people showed. Everybody needs help every now and then. We live on this planet together so let's act like it!

  64. At 17 I was in the house if not in bed. We had rules and they had to be followed, if not, there was a huge price to pay. My folks did not play games Where were her parents? At first I felt sorry for her, but not anymore. She can maybe be released after 15 years but her life is already ruined. I've never been to prison so I don't know how the system works. It's too bad this happened to all Involved. At 17 she's a kid. Stay a kid as long as you can. Time flies by very quick.

  80. She's one of the few that takes care of her place. Most don't care about taking care of their units because it's not theirs. Blasting music at all hours of the day and night. Kids running around chalking up the sidewalk. Drugs, fighting, you name it. Not all section 8's are bad news but the ones I've had to deal with were the worse. Got new management now and it's a decent place to live. I know that some people need help, but most are just lazy and expect for others to do the work for them. Thumbs up to the section 8's that want to blend in with the neighbors and are respectful.

After a long Hospital stay and three months in rehab I'm just now learning to walk again. Throw rugs are called that because you throw them out if you have them. Again, I hope he's better.
