  3. The concept of being "chosen" in judaism, is perhaps one of the most misunderstood, and most often misconstrued facets of the religion. Jews, the very religious ones anyway, believe that being chosen means that to earn God's favor, they must adhere to around 613 laws laid out in the torah, while non-jews must only follow 7 laws, known as the Noahide laws, to win that same favor. So religious jews believe they have been chosen to have more obligations. Not chosen as in liked better.

  6. While she might have built the empire, she did not build the city state. That lady inherited her father's business, which had a significant amount of value to start with. I highly doubt she would be as rich as she is now if she was dealt an average hand of cards.
