  1. Another great review Lewis! The radio looks very good and has a great feature set. However.....way too expensive. Could get two used Motorola DM series mobiles for the same money. No remote head option which means installation in a modern car is difficult. Should be standard for a radio in this price range. And since my HD-1 has developed a fault whereby it will not power on when stored for a period with battery attached. Remove and reseat the battery and it comes to life. Thought the battery was dead initially. And they don't seem to be releasing firmware updates for the HD-1 anymore. Not too trusting of Retevis products now. It would be better if Retevis improved current products instead of continually releasing new models every few months.
