  1. I know exactly what you mean. Used to use an in building 800Mhz system for work and it was incredible the amount of dead spots throughout the building. Especially annoying since the person you were trying to reach could be less than 50 feet away in another room. But go up on the roof with a 70cm hand held and talk to someone 60 miles away through a repeater around 20 miles away.
