"Under the sun" limits his talk to this mortal life. Heaven isn't under the sun. He never ruled out heaven. This is obvious reading the rest of Solomon's words including: "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Atheists trying to use the Bible to defeat the Bible instead broadcast their dishonesty and willful ignorance as well as truthphobia.

He very clearly said that spirits return to God at death. Liars will be cast into the lake of fire. I referred to videos proving the Bible right.
