  4.  @namei8967  The US has been doing more business with mainland China for a long time. Taiwan's biggest ally did more for the enemies of Taiwan than for Taiwan. Taiwan is puny, and after Korea, the Indus, Kaliningrad, New York, Hawaii and the holy land, is one of the worst places to be in WWIII.
