@DekkarJr Mothers are biologically wired to protect their children, but I'm not so sure about males being wired to protect females in general. I mean, I'd protect any person who is being bullied or harmed...their gender is irrelevant to me.

Permitting the government to be armed while disarming citizens is an extremely dangerous prospect. Governments are vulnerable to infiltration by psychopaths and sociopaths who possess a desire to control others. You should do some research into human nature and why public service attracts deranged people (take a look at the book "Political Ponerology").

 @Josh-ky2oc It is life threatening because you don't know their motives. Whether the person actually intends to harm you is irrelevant.

 @halaheleu7013 It hasn't gone away, but it is being violated. Courts fortunately seem to be slowly overturning some of these unconstitutional gun laws.
