  6. The guy was not an imminent threat, the cop used excessive force. Breaking the law does not mean the government can use any and all force.

  7. I have to disagree with you on this one. Cops shouldn't be using tasers in dangerous environments. Using a taser on a suspect fleeing on foot is considered excessive force in some jurisdictions. Neither the cop nor the public were in danger from this suspect, and a taser is intermediate force.

  8. I feel bad for the suspect, his family, and the driver. The cop used excessive force and should have known that tasing someone in the middle of a highway would be dangerous. The cop should be fired and criminally charged.
