  1. Your explanation is confusing to a lot of people...you're making it so much more complicated than it needs to be. Basically, the flow of current inside the wire induces/creates/causes an electric field around the wire, this induced electric field is what powers the device. Or, said another way, the flow of current in the wire is the mechanism by which the fields are induced.
