Yep. Moral and cultural rot is the root cause. I don't necessarily think it's the porn and violent video games, but instead, it's the destruction of spirituality. I believe that when spirituality is removed and materialism is all that's left, people begin to feel there is nothing greater, there is no larger purpose. This, in turn, creates hopelessness and causes nihilism.
When you become hopeless and nihilistic, that is when the porn and violent games begin to affect you, because you lack the core value system and the spirituality to keep you grounded. I've watched porn, I've played violent video games, I've watched violent movies, but the strong set of values instilled in me, and my belief in a greater purpose, protects me from being negatively influenced...I'm able to see those things for what they are.
I hope what I said makes sense. It was difficult trying to put it into words today (very tired).

To the people who keep commenting that we the people cannot resist a tyrannical federal government with our basic firearms, you're flat out wrong. Either you don't understand the dynamics and nuances of war, or you are a shill for the government trying to persuade people that surrendering our firearms is no big deal since we couldn't fight back anyway.
The government can have its missiles, bombs, planes, etc, but what percentage of the military will actually kill their own friends and family if ordered to do so? When the people shutdown the electricity to military bases, stop delivering food, turn off the water, blockade fuel deliveries, etc, what will the military do? Remember, Vietnam defeated the US, and Afghanistan defeated Russia. It's also likely the military would break into factions, some supporting tyranny, and some supporting the people; we the people would have at least some of that advanced equipment and munitions fighting on our behalf.
In conclusion, yes, defeating the US military with basic firearms would be very difficult, but not impossible when considering the many factors specific to a domestic war.
