 sinistan1002 What does federal law have to do with federal agency overreach? Federal bureaucratic agencies don't create law.

@rorycannon7295 Unelected bureaucrats are effectively re-interpreting federal law in an effort to achieve their own agenda. Interpretation of law is under the purvie of the judicial branch, not the executive branch.

@rorycannon7295 No, that's clearly not what I'm saying. For example, the DEA wants to redefine certain words in order to bypass current gun laws. Redefining "frame of receiver" to mean "complete firearm" would bypass Congress' legislative intent. Giving bureaucracts the power to redefine words related to their regulatory authority would permit them to bypass statutory intent.

@timm8263 That's the problem, the government isn't profit driven, because it is not required to do anything right while it still gets paid. What's the incentive for the government to do things well if it gets paid regardless?

@timm8263 What does the government do except take our tax money, pay themselves exhorbitant salaries with ridiculous benefits, and then do very little that's in the best interests of anyone but itself?

@timm8263 If Biden sold NFTs, that would be a legitimate business. What he's selling to China, Ukraine, Russia, and Romania isn't legitimate.
