@ghost_martini I recommend that you endeavor to mitigate your biases and try to perceive things more objectively. These indictments are clearly politically motivated. The corporate controlled government cannot tolerate a president who strongly prioritizes American interests over the interests of globalists (central banks, IMF, defense contractors, multinational investment management companies, etc) You are too close to the trees to see the forest. Take a few steps back and look at all the pieces. Have you ever heard of the "liberal international order," aka the "rules based international order"?

@withering_pumpkin8040 If they don't have the actual document, it really doesn't matter. The people to whom he allegedly showed this document cannot testify as to its authenticity or classification level. All they have is a tape of him saying "look at these documents, as president, I could have declassified them, but now I can't." The prejudicial value of such uncorroborated evidence far exceeds its probative value, and no fair judge would permit that evidence to be presented in a criminal trial. Yes, this kind of evidence is permitted in grand juries, hence the reason why it's pretty easy to indict just about anyone for anything.

@kilgore_T From the reporting, the prosecution doesn't have the documents to which Trump was allegedly referring. I can tell the cops I stole a car, but they can't charge me if they can't find the vehicle.

@jamesboyd5511 Who knows? And that's the point. It's possible he was lying, it's possible it was classified, it's possible it was just some random papers, and it's possible he thought it was classified, but it really wasn't.
