They broke the law by simply entering the country under false pretenses. Sovereign nations have borders and they make laws that pertaining to who may cross those boundaries, this is not a free for all.

  7.  @stardust164  Some are, some aren't. Also, if they are applying for asylum, immigration law does not permit them to be released pending their asylum hearing...but Biden is allowing it anyway. It does not benefit the US or its citizens to permit millions of unvetted people from all over the world to enter the country. Some are gang members and terrorists. Many have few to no skills, have little to no education, and cannot speak English. How many will become entirely dependent on taxpayers to cover healthcare, education, food, and housing? The continued influx of migrants will lower the standard of living for the vast majority of American citizens. The only people who won't be affected are the wealthy who live in protected communities. It's very clear the Biden administration and his globalist partners couldn't care less about the backbone of the country. They are intentionally trying to alter the fundamental character of the United States.

  8.  @stardust164  How isn't it that bad? Where do you live? The border situation is the worst it's ever been. How many of our people are dying from fentanyl coming over the border? Either you are being lied to, or you're not paying attention. If the border remains open, about 20 million people will have crossed into the country by the time his first term is up (if the crossing rate remains the same). That's one for every 17 people already in the US. That is the population of NY.
