@Dixie Normous Yes, eventually, but I think we have more than 48 years. We will organically transition to other sources of energy as technology advances; however, artificially forcing a transition will cause major disruptions in the economy like we're seeing now. It will only become much worse as the assault on fossil fuel continues.

@Rafael9699 How would everyone win? How about the US just increase oil production?

@Dixie Normous Oil is not a dying energy source. Renewables will never replace fossil fuel without vastly improved energy storage technology. We should look at thorium reactors.

@4touchdownsinonegame178 They aren't price gouging, it's supply and demand.

@talldavid30 Well, Brandon is very clearly not open to all solutions. Our country and we citizens were so much better off with the Trump administration. Brandon isn't even running the country, the WEF is.

@AHBranch1 Because wind and solar are inefficient, expensive, take huge areas of land, and they do not work when the wind isn't blowing and the Sun isn't shining. Also, a forced transition to renewables is causing severe disruptions to the economy.

@AHBranch1 I agree.

@polygraphliedetector False.

@The00Dude Brandon slept and showered with his daughter while 600K died.

@Dixie Normous Electric vehicles still need fossil fuel to generate electricity. Gasoline and hybrid engines will still be around for a little while. A lot of auto enthusiasts don't like electric cars. We need to increase oil production until the other technologies become cheaper, less harmful to the environment, and more efficient. The WEF's plan to force a transition from fossil fuels is part of the goal to to destabilize the US economy and weaken US hegemony. This administration and its WEF buddies hate America and hate American citizens.

@AHBranch1 That's not actually true. There are 100s of billions of dollars in development funds for solar and wind. China is investing heavily in solar because they want the US rely on them for energy while they burn as much fossil fuel as they want. We really should move to nuclear and geothermal, cleaner and much more efficient than any other fuel source.

@mrrey8937 One goal of the green new deal is destroying sovereignty and boundaries. We citizens are going to have to put a stop to it.
