  8.  @golgiroth  Let's say it's not good for the atmosphere, I don't agree, but for sake of argument, let's say it is. Now, let's say the entire Western world suddenly stops using all forms of carbon based fuels. Do you think that will make a difference? It won't. The most effective approach is to develop carbon capture technologies, and develop processes to create cleaner burning fuels. No doubt anthropogenic processes do have some impact, but natural processes are far more consequential.
