@Gaber8845 We make a mineral deal in Ukraine because it ties our interests with those of Ukraine. It puts a substantial US presence in Ukraine and serves as a strong deterrent to Russia. It's not hard.

@Hypocrisywatch1 Russia is a nationalist country. It wants to preserve its history, heritage, and culture. Ukraine and the EU are globalists, they want a 1984 style dystopian utopia where all sovereignties and cultures are wrecked. Putin might be a dictator, but he's not a globalist, and the latter is worse.

@Gaber8845 It was part of the deal. That was one of the major points of the deal. Trump is trying to thread a needle, it does no good to insult the person you're trying to bring to the table. This stuff goes on behind closed doors all the time, it's just that we happened to see it on camera for the first time.
