  2. Trump should appeal this ruling. It should be adjudicated before he is inaugurated. They want to be able to hold this over his head during his term. The verdict should be vacated.

  7. ​ @prever8276 If you look at it objectively without bias, it doesn't ring true. Trump knew that once he announced his candidacy, they were going to come for him. Essentially, they put the ammo in their guns and dared Trump to run. Once he officially announced, they began the indictments.

  8. ​ @prever8276 Trump has character flaws, but that doesn't make him a criminal. Trump is technically not yet a convicted felon. A verdict is not a conviction. Until the judge enters the verdict into the judgement of conviction record at sentencing, he is still a defendant. This is because before the verdict is entered, the verdict can be vacated.
