 @AndrewPriester The thin blue line flag is more or less a gang sign. They should not be modifying the US flag. I'm usually on your side with things, but not on this one.

Neither of those flags should be flown. Only the US and state flags.

@AndrewPriester Because it basically conveys the idea that police are not beholden to the same laws as everyone else. I know that's not what the blue line is supposed to actually mean, but that's how it's taken. And the reason for that is that police who commit criminal acts are often not held to the same standards as private citizens. Have you ever watched how police treat a cop pulled over for DUI versus a private citizen? There is little accountability in police and it really needs to change. The number of body cam videos which show how badly police treat the public is unbelievable. Police are state enforcers, not servants is the public.

The thin blue line flag essentially means police are not part of the public, and that's a very bad mentality to have.

Do you support them when they use excessive force when a citizen is doing nothing but exercising their rights to the fullest? I'm a Trump supporter, but cops aren't anyone's friend, they are nothing but enforcers of the state.
