  7.  @chancegillespie3712  Fair enough, but the electric signals are what cause a heart to beat. It's semantics. This means the brain is triggering the autonomic firing of the heart. As far as the sound, you are correct (my apologies), but the sound is a representation of the electrical signals. Just like you can hear the Sun if you feed the electromagnetic waves it gives off to an amp and speaker.

  11. @Il Drumppo Appreciate that. And I don't mean to be a hypocrite, it does go both ways. But I do try my best to mitigate my own biases and to be as objective as possible.

While I may not agree with a state's decision to permit abortion for convenience purposes, I do support and defend the federalist system of government formed by our Constitution.

  18.  @Patty-yq3zf  Capitalism only fails when the government sticks its nose in it and picks winners and losers. If we got rid of crony capitalism, it would be far more effective. Even with its problems, it's still more effective than any other system. What would you propose?

  19. @Il Drumppo For example, given the available information at the time, I think it's quite possible Trump may have done something negligent with those documents, but, based on prior case law and the Presidential Records Act, I don't think it was criminal (unless his actions actually put human assets in grave danger).
