@SocraticMutt He built 400 miles of wall. He kept a lot of promises, and he didn't get four additional years to finished the rest. When you have the entire DC apparatus working against the citizens, it's difficult to push policy that doesn't enrich the lobbyists and their clients.

@listlessvessels5 Because testifying opens up the opportunity for the prosecution to cross examine, and Trump had a tendency to talk too much, and that could prejudice the jury. Also, when you testify, the jury tends to put less focus on the actual evidence.
