Collectivism does not work better than capitalism, despite its problems. Economic collectivism competes with basic human nature.

  5.  @NihloPath  Read more. Read some history, take some classes in human psychology, history, and applied economic theory. Your very simplistic view of the world does not reflect reality. Communism creates permanent misery for all, while capitalism creates misery for some, but with the capacity to change their circumstances. Yes, there are a few obscenely wealthy people, but that negative is worth the overall benefits. Perfection can never be achieved.
