@takeyourheart1 Who made the decision to engage in reproductive activities? You take responsibility for your actions. There is absolutely no good reason for an unwanted pregnancy in 2023 (except for a tiny, tiny, tiny minority).

@TheAircool1 It has to do with the creation of a separate life, with its unique combination of DNA. It is related to responsibility; it's no different than parents being responsible for their children.

@Anthony M A child still developing inside the womb is a unique individual with a unique DNA sequence, and that it should have the right to live.

@Anthony M It is a secular nation, but it was founded on Christian values, values which are a critical part of our culture. I would think any moral and ethical person would not approve of late term abortions in cases where there is a heartbeat and a functioning nervous system. As far as early abortions where the fetus cannot be discerned as a human being, I would be willing to consider the arguments for and against.
