@jasonaltig985 Well, not necessarily religion, but in order to find purpose and meaning, you must believe in something larger than yourself, and it doesn't even matter if it's mythology. Atheism leads to nihilism and vanity, with no deeper meaning; the evidence is significant.

@jasonaltig985 All of that means nothing in the larger context, because those things are ephemeral. You are just living for yourself, which is superficial, vain, and temporary. Another issue is the concept of morality. Man cannot define morality, because it comes from a higher power. We discovered morality through reason, we didn't invent it. If man invented morality, that means it is open to bring questioned. Whether you realize it or not, your moral compass was derived from religion.
