  2. ​ @cptscotchtape Well, we'll see what happens. The end results will either prove Trump a genius, or an utter failure. Our past leaders have really put the US into a precarious situation, and something drastic needed to be done to repair it. The longer we wait to fix it, the more extreme the treatment will be. Better to tolerate high prices for a period of time than to deal with eventual insolvency. By 2050, with current policy, our national debt will be 215% of GDP, and 625% of GDP by 2096.
