@nazarbeiar840 Trump is right, because that's a future theoretical. You deal with the issue at hand, and then you deal with potentialities. Ever heard of analysis paralysis? Signing the deal puts a US presence in Ukraine and aligns Ukraine's interests with ours, and that is a self executing deterrent.

@IronThreads08 Putting American civilians in Ukraine and protecting the resources that we have a vested interest in, would absolutely deter Russia. A war with the US is not in Russia's interests.

@laynieree4536 His actions only point to that because you're perceiving it through a biased lens. Trump is threading a needle and trying to get the best deal possible given the cards that he has to play. The "ra ra ra go Ukraine" and "Putin bad" are not how very high stakes diplomacy is accomplished.
