There is some data that correlate intelligence, but only because more intelligent people often seek higher institutional education. The highly intelligent people who don't seek a traditional college education often find other avenues to educate themselves, and these avenues are not fraught with the collectivist indoctrination and groupthink that currently plague our academic institutions.
