Agreed, but you cannot distill a person's entire worth down to only their bad actions. Very, very few people are purely bad.

@arm2307 Yes, I absolutely agree. Just trying to broaden the perspective.

@mikey5650 I didn't say he should be honored.
2
@cloudsunicorns194 I didn't say he was.

@reddi672 No. That’s not my logic at all. Of course there are many people who should be in prison. You're conflating different things and misunderstanding nuance.

I swear Tatum looks like a black Alex Jones.

@wuzupyou3509 I agree. I never said he should be honored.

@reddi672 You're making ridiculously specific assumptions about a generic comment based in truth. I said a person's total value is not represented by only their bad acts, and this is true. That being said, of course there must be justice and people must pay for their bad actions. So, if I saved the lives of two people, but, for whatever reason, I later rob a bank, I'm suddenly evil and irredeemable?
1
@reddi672 No. It has nothing to do with ratio, it has to do with complexity. People are complicated. You don't dismiss the worth of a person based only on their sins.

@reddi672 He participated in church ministries and mentored young men in the Third Ward, aiming to guide them away from the pitfalls he had experienced. Floyd also shared anti-violence messages on social media, reflecting his commitment to fostering a safer environment for youth.

@reddi672 So, it sounds like you agree that people's worth should be judged by only their bad acts. That makes sense to you? 😂
1
@reddi672 If I save the life of one person and then rob 5 banks and steal a car, does that mean I'm an evil person, or is it more complicated than that?
1
@1Bohimyme Maybe he is, but that wasn’t my point. But yes, we are all sinners.
