That was an illegal arrest. She did not physically interfere with the stop. Speech alone cannot ve deemed as Interference/obstruction.
2
Arrested for pointing a finger? Yeah, sorry, but that's freedom of speech. All charges will be dropped and a lawsuit should be filed.
2
You don't have to be rich and driving a a Porsche to act like a rich guy driving a Porsche, I see it happen all the time, it just stands out more when it's a Porsche.
2
@randalljames3080 He should get a Koenigsegg Jesko. That's what I'm aiming for.
2
You don't need his ID to investigate, and you're certainly not entitled to his social security number.
2
@e-4051 She doesn't have to step back. His command was nothing more than a request, because she had no lawful obligation to comply with it. Now, if she was standing in front of the door keeping her son from existing the vehicle or grabbing the officer to stop him, that would be obstruction.
2
Cops are the only sovereign citizens, since they are rarely ever held accountable for violating the law...this needs to be addressed.
1
A taser is a less than lethal force weapon, there would be no justification to use it in this instance. The Graham Factors to use such force were not met.
1
@mcajack Agreed, but the cop failed to try to deescalate the situation. I don't understand why police often try to make the situation worse when they are supposed to have been trained to deescalate.
1
@dakotasteele8546 Thanks for the compliment. I would love to represent her, but although I have passed full length practice bar exams, I have never attended law school, so I am not licensed to practice law.
1
I was clocked doing 125 in a 55. I just got a ticket.
1
Well, unless you are active duty military, we are all civilians, cops included.
1
She is. She will be released. The blue line gang protects their relatives.
1
@dianeroeder3350 Sure it does, as long as they aren't "fighting" words.
1
It depends.
1
I had to call the cops on the cops once.
1
@ravendevino6419 The OP was talking about accountability for people who break the law. I just asked a question about accountability for police, because it's a rare occurrence.
1
@ravendevino6419 It's necessary because equal application of the law is necessary to prevent a police state from forming. Hypocrisy must always be highlighted and addressed.
1
So, you're ok with using excessive force and having cops "teach lessons"? Yeah, no thanks, they should do their jobs like professionals. People like you are enabling a police state by supporting bad cops.
1
@BenjaminWillis-24 That's not the job of law enforcement.
1
@ricklanese6174 The cop doesn't know what it's called.
1
@mjsteward89 Law enforcement is not supposed to usurp the roles of the judge and jury.
1
Life in prison? Seriously?
1
Good thing we have cameras now.
1
Income tax should be illegal. It was only passed to take money from citizens to pay the shareholders of the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve is the biggest theft of personal wealth in all of world history.
1
@ScottW-vz4bf If every American citizen were to stop paying taxes, there is nothing the IRS could do. We outnumber them thousands to one.

?
1
Why are the cops even there?
1
How did she interfere?

@arnold8746 Police salaries are public record. It only takes a quick search on the city or county's page. For example, go look at police salaries at transparent california, you'll be shocked. I'm talking regular patrol cops, sergeants, and lieutenants.
1
@arnold8746 Police salaries are public record. Look them up. Here is one I picked at random in California, a lieutenant: Regular pay: $244,278.93 Overtime pay: $100,242.94 Other pay: $61,981.57 Total pay: $406,503.44

1
@PrinceJediMaster LOL
1
@Bobby-k2q And if you were one of those thousands, I bet you wouldn't be saying that. And it's more like 10s of thousands.
1
@Ellie20145 Depends on which city they are working. You can look up the salaries. Go look at law enforcement salaries in CA. Lieutenants make up to $400K.

@Bubba__Sawyer How are they making me look foolish when the facts are on my side? These are objective facts. The issue is that reality is such a shock to some people that they cannot accept it. Cognitive dissonance is uncomfortable. Law enforcement salaries are public information. A simple search will confirm my claims. Unfortunately, YT won't allow the posting of links.
1
@Bubba__Sawyer SovTard? The only sovereign citizens are cops. Let me guess, you're one of those people who call private citizens, civilians.
1

@xellie1074 I said the police were reasonable in this particular case.
1
@andy4849 Nobody is a loser.
1
@sallysue8176 Yes they really do. Look up their salaries in California.
1
@thanosianthemadtitanic Please clarify your comment.
1
@solong_abigail Some regular patrol officers make over $300K. The issue I have with police is there is very little to no accountability for their unethical/immoral/illegal actions. I mean, the way some of these cops act, and they still get to keep their jobs, it defies all logic. When I was a manager, if one of my directs behaved like some of these cops, they would be immediately terminated, not promoted. Police are supposed to remain professional and honor their oaths to the Constitution, not to obey unlawful orders from command or attempt to bully people because of their fragile egos.
1
@TinnyDee Well, I probably wouldn't last a week, because I would act ethically, morally, and I wouldn't back up my colleagues when they act unprofessionally; but what does that have to do with anything? Because their job is difficult, they should be able to take it out on people? A doctor's job is difficult, just imagine them taking their stress out on patients.
1
What is it with all the cops with the gang and jailhouse tats? Sorry, bud, but that doesn't make you tough, it makes you look like a coloring book. Real men don't need "look at how tough I am" signage.
