  1. It's aliens. Mankind doesn't yet have technology to manipulate time and gravity, which is the only way I know of that you can break the sound barrier without a sonic boom and mitigate the effects of inertia. To dismiss the alien explanation out of hand I think is silly. The size and age of the universe is beyond what we can perceive. To think humans are the only intelligent life is ignorant, arrogant, and presumptuous.

  4. No Earth based civilization has the technology to manipulate time and gravity at the level demonstrated by some of these craft. Either the story is fake or these craft are of extraterrestrial origin. The only way I could explain these physics defying maneuvers is through temporal manipulation, effectively creating a bubble of time around the craft such that its time flows at a much slower rate than the time outside the bubble. This could explain the inertial problems associated with near instantaneous acceleration, the near impossible velocities, and the lack of sonic booms.
