@joshdavis416 Probably because he's aware of how this channel tends to frame the narrative. While I cannot state with absolute conviction, I would hazard to guess that you would likely watch Fox News with a similar skepticism. Both sides are right, and both sides are wrong. We are all trapped in our own personal instantiations of reality built upon the foundations of our own experiences and biases. We all need to try to be more objective and data driven rather than succumb to the emotional sensationalism promulgated by corporate media.

@joshdavis416 I don't think that was inferred, you read an awful lot into just one sentence. You seem to be filling in the gaps with your own biases. Many among the left do seem to sympathize with repeat violent criminals. In my personal opinion, the left is too sympathetic and the right is not sympathetic enough. Our justice system should protect law abiding people but also provide rehabilitative services to those who can be rehabilitated, but it's doing neither; it's broken. Nobody wants innocent people to go to jail.

@joshdavis416 I do agree with your last sentence to an extent, but the desire for vanity, clout, and opulence have risen to prominence because those in positions of authority and influence have moved the country away from the noble principles and values upon which it was founded.
